Suffolk Students Named Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® Scholars

Chaudhry, 24, of Deer Park have been named Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® Scholars and will each receive $2,000 in scholarships to further their studies in the college’s heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration program (HVAC/R).

 

Suffolk County Community College was one of 25 community colleges recently invited to participate in the Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® scholarship program. Through this program, Grainger offers qualified community college students financial scholarships in industrial skilled trade and public safety programs and nearly 650 students earned Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® scholarships since the program’s inception in 2006.
