Mission and Program Learning Outcomes

The mission of the faculty, staff and administration of the Culinary Arts: Baking and Pastry Arts Certificate Program is to provide quality hospitality education and culinary training to a diverse student population in order to prepare them for immediate employment in an entry-level, supervisory position or for career advancement in establishments where baking and pastry production occur. The curriculum is designed to teach the core values of excellence, leadership, ethics and respect for diversity compatible with the American Culinary Federation’s Code of Ethics.
