Mission and Program Learning Outcomes

The mission of the Photographic Imaging A.A.S. degree program is to provide a comprehensive instructional series of photographic courses which will prepare graduates for entry-level participation in professional photography and photographic related professions. This program will also act as a foundation for students who wish to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Photography. The curriculum includes individual courses designed to enhance existing photographic skills, to provide personal enrichment for students developing their aesthetic values, as well as to provide a means for personal expression.
