ChargeMaster Schedule Process Committee Charge, 2013 - 2014
The College Master Schedule Process Committee has the following responsibilities:
1. Recommend and implement policy dealing with scheduling activities.
a. It is expected that the committee will have the authority to establish and implement
policy in operational areas. The Chair shall determine which policy matters are of
sufficient magnitude to be directed to the Executive Council.
b. For policies set at the Executive Council or Cabinet level, the Committee will be
responsible for policy implementation and monitoring, as well.
2. Function as the user group for Banner INB and Banner SSB.
a. Collect recommendations regarding application changes and determine change
b. Request that changes be made to these applications.
c. Participate in planning and monitoring of system training and maintaining "Banner
Training Manuals" and posting training materials to the College portal.
d. Review and update "USER" permissions.
e. Annually review and update "USER" permissions and add/remove as necessary.
3. Adopt Master Schedule Process Calendar in collaboration with the College Registrar and
the Office of Academic Affairs.
The membership of the Master Schedule Process Committee shall consist of the following:
College Associate Dean for Planning and College Master Schedule, Chair
Three Campus Associate Deans for Academic Affairs in charge of Campus Master Schedule
to serve as campus liaisons to the MSPC
Associate Dean for Instructional Technology
Associate Dean for Continuing Education
Director of Information Management
Director of ESL Programs
Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs; Counseling, Advising and Testing
Director, Office of Publications, ad hoc
