Starting PonyEspresso

To start PonyEspresso:
  1. Start a browser session with a browser that supports Java.
  2. Verify that Java applet support in your browser is enabled.
  3. In the address field of your browser, enter the  PonyEspresso Uniform Resource Locator (URL)*.

    4. Note: A remote system behind a firewall might not be able to resolve the DNS name in the URL that you use to access the system on which PonyEspresso is installed. If you are behind a remote firewall, enter the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the system on which PonyEspresso is installed instead of entering the Domain Name Service (DNS) name. For example, use  123.56.2.1 instead of  www.xyzcompany.com in the URL field.
  4. Select the link to download PonyEspresso.
  5. Enter your user name in Name.
  6. Enter your Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) password in Password. If you do not know your IMAP password, ask your system administrator.
  7. Choose OK to use PonyEspresso.

    8. Note: If you use the Mochila feature of PonyEspresso, use a browser that supports Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
