| disAbility.gov | Provides one-stop online access to resources, services, and information available throughout the Federal government. Created by the Presidential Task Force on Employment of Adults with Disabilities. |
| American Association of People with Disabilities | A national non-partisan organization created to represent 49 million Americans with disabilities in order to work together toward common goals and provide basic benefits and services for its members. Also maintains a Career Center where you can search and apply for positions nationwide. |
| Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) | AHEAD was founded to address the need and concern for upgrading the quality of services and support available to persons with disabilities in higher education. |
| National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NETAC) | NETAC serves postsecondary institutions to increase access and transition opportunities for students who are deaf or hearing impaired. |
| Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D) | RFB&D is the nation's educational library for individuals with print disabilities. Educational materials are provided in recorded and computerized formats from kindergarten through postgraduate level. |
| Rehabtool.com | This site can help children and adults with disabilities regain independence through the use of assistive and adaptive technology. |
| Family Village | A global community of disability-related resources. Contains informational resources on specific diagnoses, communication connections, adaptive products and technology, adaptive recreational activities, education, health issues, and disability-related media and literature. |
| HalfthePlanet Foundation | The online resource where the disability community can access services and products for independent living, connect with peer support, and keep up with disability-related news and information. |
| Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) | VESID is an office of the New York State Education Department that helps individuals with disabilities become independent through education, training and employment. |
| Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped (CBVH) | CBVH provides rehabilitation services to individuals who are legally blind and reside in New York State. |
| Suffolk County Disability Organizations | Provides links to dozens of agencies and organizations in Suffolk County that serve individuals with disabilities. |
