Counselors are available to assist students with a variety of personal issues and concerns. Individual counseling is provided on a short-term basis to students dealing with stress, relationship problems, anxiety, depression and other concerns interfering with college success. Referral to area human service agencies and private practitioners is available for students needing specific assistance not available on campus.
Personal Growth Workshops
Workshops are available to assist students in understanding specific problems and building coping strategies and skills. Workshop topics have included anger management, career decision-making, stress reduction, managing test anxiety, time management, learning styles, domestic abuse awareness, academic planning, dream analysis, and managing holiday blues.
