Group sessions of CLEP exams are offered at SCCC according to the schedule created by the Adult Learner Office on a monthly basis. Please call the office at (631) 451-4696 for the current list of dates.

CLEP testing sessions are open to all students who register in advance according to the procedures described below. Since seating is limited, applications will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

What are the fees for CLEP Exams?

Effective July 1, 2006: The fee for each exam will be $60.00 to CLEP and $30.00 to SCCC

SCCC administers CLEP tests upon receipt of checks/money orders, but does not accept cash or credit card payments. (Disregard information in box #18 on application.) Enclose two separate checks or money orders as follows:

• Make one check/money order payable to “College-Level Examination Program” in the amount of $60.00 per test.

• Make the other check/money order payable to “Suffolk County Community College” in the amount of $30.00. per test. This is a non-refundable service fee.

  (If you are registering for more than one exam, you must make out separate checks/money orders for each exam, and it is required that you must submit separate applications for each exam.)

Your registration and test fees must be received at the CLEP Testing Center on/or before the application due date. Please indicate your second choice of date on your registration form. For further information, call the Office of Adult Learner Academic Programs at (631) 451-4696.

If you must reschedule your exam, an additional $15 fee will be required payable to "CLEP". Late registrations are subject to approval and an additional $18 fee will be required payable to “Suffolk County Community College”.
