The courses associated with the staff technology-training plan are as follows:

Preamble - The rules and procedures for using the College's computer systems and network will be distributed throughout these staff technology training courses.

1. Orientation to College's technology environment course

    • User groups (what applications you need for different roles at the college)
    • Policies
    • Network systems (CARS, Doc Imaging, Schedule25)
    • Email and Intranet services
    • Network based directory and print services (Campus and College)

2. Windows course (prerequisite for all other courses)

The staff technology-training plan would commence by offering courses 1 and 2 during the summer 2000 sessions. The full program would be in effect by the spring 2001 semester. It should be noted that courses 1, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 would be needed to be developed by continuing education. The others have already been created under the support of other college training plans.
