ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Use outcomes assessment in academic planning and development

Monitor implementation of Enable for outcomes project in early childhood and interior design.

LEADING EDGE TECHNOLOGY

Improve communication amoung students, faculty and staff through use of emerging technologies

Promote interest in distance learning among business, social science, sciene, mathematics and business faculty.

Integrate appropriate technologies into the teaching and learning process

Create professional sequences in business and CI/Cm curricula.

Acquire CD ROM instructional aids in the social sciences.

Continue integration of computer lab in EG11 and possibly EG10.

Identify faculty who review and recommend software for English instruction.

Identify faculty who will review, propose and develop courses for online instruction.

Prepare multiple classroom designs for fixed and mobile computer classroom.

Initiate planning dialog between Academic Computing and humanities faculty for use of laptops in general purpose classrooms.

 

Implement continuous technology training for faculty, staff, and students

Develop training, services and staffing for the distance learning classroom.
