The computer science and information technology department offers two degrees, an A.S. in Computer Science and an A.A.S. in Information Technology, and a Certificate in Information Technology.

The Computer Science program builds a solid theoretical and
mathematical foundation needed to pursue advanced studies in
computer and informational sciences; it is designed to transfer to a four year school.

The Information Technology degrees prepare students for careers in one of the following fields:
Network Design and Administration, Computer Information Systems,
and Internet/Web Development. Although designed as career degrees, these often transfer to local colleges.

The IT Certificate program is designed for students who already have
a degree and/or a career and are looking for a fast track into new technology.
