About Our Writing
Center
Most professional
writers and writing teachers agree that in order for writers to prosper,
what they need most is a thoughtful and interested audience. Our
Writing Center provides this kind of audience for all students and faculty
at SCCC. More importantly, we work with you to develop your writing
to its fullest potential. Our Writing Center staff of professional and
peer tutors is aware that your piece of writing and the ideas that make up
your writing are valuable no matter where you are in the writing process.
All members of the SCCC community are welcome to work on and/or discuss
any type of writing project in the Writing Center.
