Newspapers

Newspapers are useful sources which often provide information that cannot be found in any other form of periodicals. Newspapers generally cover the day-to-day current events of a particular place, the world in general, or specific professions and industries. They answer the questions: who, what, where, why, and how. Similar to magazine articles, newspaper articles are generally short and are written in easy to understand language. Older newspapers are important sources of historical information on what the world was like in the past.
