Form Instructions

To officially withdraw from a class, you will need to complete a Course Withdrawal form.

When completing the fillable form, save the form to your documents or desktop and then attach it to your SUNY Suffolk email.

Spring 2024 Term Sessions

Instructions for course withdrawal during the first two-thirds of the Spring 2024 term sessions:

Submit the Course Withdrawal – By Two-Thirds of Term Deadline form to the campus Registrar Office.
Use the dates below as a guide for deadlines.

Early End Day and Early End Evening (7.5 - week) parts of term deadline is February 26, 2024
Early End Day and Early End Evening (10-week) parts of term deadline is March 15, 2024
Full Term Day, Evening, Online, and Saturday and Sunday parts of term deadline is April 4, 2024
Late Start (10-week) part of term deadline is April 19, 2024
Late Start Day and Late Start Evening (7.5 week) parts of term deadline is April 26, 2024

Instructions for course withdrawal after the two-thirds deadline:

Submit the Course Withdrawal – After Deadline of Two-Thirds of Term form to your instructor.

Ask that your instructor approve it and email it to the campus Registrar Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on the below deadline dates. Withdrawals will not be honored after these dates.

Early End Day and Early End Evening (7.5 - week) parts of term end on March 15, 2024
Early End Day and Early End Evening (10-week) parts of term end on April 9, 2024
Full Term Saturday and Sunday part of term ends on May 4, 2024 and May 5, 2024
Full Term Day, Evening, and Online parts of term end on May 13, 2024
Late Start (10-week) part of term ends on May 13, 2024
Late Start Day and Late Start Evening (7.5 week) parts of term end on May 13, 2024
