Mission

The mission of Plant Operations is to support the College in reaching its goal of excellence in education and public service. Plant Operations maintains all physical aspects of the College to enhance and support an environment of Higher Education. Providing related services such as environmental services (custodial, moveable properties, event set ups, pest control, road and grounds maintenance); general and mechanical services (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general repairs and preventative maintenance). Plant Operations also acts as a resource to Central Facilities during various phases of Capital Projects.

Goals and Outcomes

Goal:

To provide related services such as environmental services.

Outcomes:

The Department of Plant Operations will improve the quality of the College appearance by implementing landscape design plans and maintaining such landscaping.

Goal:

To provide related services general and mechanical services.

Outcomes:

The Department of Plant Operations will develop work order systems for tracking corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance and improvement issues.

Goal:

Plant Operations also acts as a resource to Central Facilities during various phases of Capital Projects.

Outcomes:

The Department of Plant Operations will administer necessary support services to meet the needs of the students, faculty and staff.
