General Education Assessment

An integral part of Suffolk County Community College’s academic assessment initiatives is the assessment of general education courses. Suffolk County Community College has routinely assessed the ten State University of New York General Education Learning Outcomes and the two infused competencies on a rotating basis. A Faculty Coordinator of General Education Assessment works with faculty members to perform learning outcomes assessments in designated General Education courses.
