Mission and Program Learning Outcomes

The mission of the faculty, staff and administration of the Hotel and Resort Management Certificate Program is to provide quality hospitality education and culinary training to a diverse student population in order to prepare them for immediate employment in entry-level, supervisory positions in the lodging and resort industries. The curriculum is designed to foster social responsibility through involvement in community service and to teach the core values of excellence, leadership, ethics and respect for diversity compatible with the American Culinary Federation’s Code of Ethics.
