- Apply their knowledge of American Deaf Culture to hypothetical experience with the deaf community in ways that reflect their understanding of the differences between American Majority and American Deaf Culture.
- Compare and contrast the linguistics of English and American Sign Language.
- Communicate in American Sign Language (ASL) at a level that meets the nationally accepted standards for fluency after completion of ASL IV.
- Prepare an individual professional development plan for continued acquisition of ASL and professional involvement with Deaf people after graduation.
