Description: "Cassandra", the literary magazine for the Grant Campus, is published on an annual basis. "Cassandra's" goal is to publish those poems and short stories, along with art work and photographs, which deal with not only women's issues, but also humanistic issues. "Cassandra" is a forum for many different backgrounds, both female and male, full and part-time students, day and evening students. "Cassandra" also sponsors an annual poetry contest with cash prizes.

Description: The Compass is published monthly and serves as a vehicle of expression for the entire campus. All students are welcome to work on the newspaper and any member of the college community can submit articles for publication.

Description: East End Elements, the campus art & literary magazine for the Eastern Campus of Suffolk County Community College, publishes poetry, prose, artwork, and photos submitted by students, alumni, faculty, and staff. The editorial staff selects materials based on artistic merit, whether or not it coincides with the views of the staff or advisor, through a process of blind submissions. The magazine is published once each semester and is distributed across campus. Requests for our call for submissions should be sent to Orient 133 or eastendelements@gmail.com.

Description: The Lighthouse News is a publication produced by students on the Eastern campus of Suffolk County Community College. Students serve in editing positions, reporting positions, and photography and layout and design positions to collaborate in creating news reports, feature stories, arts and entertainment articles and sports stories that cover campus events and activities.
