Professor Dennis Reissig began his career at SCCC in 1980 as an adjunct instructor and joined the Mathematics Department as a full time faculty member in 1983.  He has been the department’s Academic Chair since 2004, and Assistant Chair for 15 years prior to that.  During his career, some of his student centered activities have included serving as the Math Learning Center Coordinator, Advisor to the Chess Club, Advisor to the Math Club, and coach of the bowling teams.  Professor Reissig is the recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service.
