The Retirees Association of Suffolk Community College (RASCC) maintains strong bonds between the College and its retired faculty and staff.
The RASCC fosters community, supports educational initiatives, and enhances the lives of members through connection, service, and continued engagement with Suffolk County Community College. Members stay involved through events, fellowship, service, and support for student-focused initiatives.

Who is eligible to join?
Eligibility to join the Retirees Association of Suffolk Community College (RASCC) requires meeting one of the following criteria:
- Retired employees of Suffolk County Community College and their spouses or life partners
- Employees on long-term disability
- Spouses or life partners of deceased Suffolk County Community College employees
- Former employees of the college
- Former members of official boards of the college and foundation as determined by the executive council

Grants & Scholarships Provided by the RASCC
- RASCC Legacy Fellowship Grant – Supporting innovative student-focused initiatives each year
- Student Exit Survey Project – Funded to help gather post-graduation data for program improvements
- “A Fabric Repaired…” Project – A $1,000 grant awarded to a student-led environmental sustainability initiative blending fashion and science
- Scholarships – For New Students and For Continuing Students
