PSY101: Introduction to Psychology 3 Credits

Unlock the science of the human mind. From the biological basis of behavior to the laws of learning, this course lays the foundation for understanding why we do what we do. You will explore critical topics including personality, social psychology, lifespan development, and mental health. (Fulfills SUNY-GE Social Sciences)

HSC100: Introduction to Healthcare & Health Professions 3 Credits

Are you considering a career in medicine or wellness? This course is your blueprint. Gain a comprehensive overview of the U.S. healthcare system, including the legal aspects of care, the role of technology, and a survey of various healthcare professions to help you plan your future career.

SBU102: Marine Biology of Eastern Long Island 1 Credit

An exploration of select culturally and ecologically important marine organisms found in the waters of eastern Long Island. Taxonomic relationships, morphological characteristics, ecological roles, and conservation issues will be discussed for each taxa, with an emphasis on scientific research conducted by the Stony Brook University School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, and the work of local conservation organizations.

This program is designed to be accessible to our entire community.

High School Students (Early College Opportunity):

  • Take advantage of a significantly reduced rate of $100.00 per credit.
  • Open to select students from Hampton Bays High School and applicants from other East End high schools.

College Students & Adult Learners:

  • Standard tuition rate of $252.00 per credit (fees not included).
