Academic Advising Mentoring Center

The Academic Advising and Mentoring Center (AAMC) at Suffolk County Community College helps connects students seeking academic advising with teaching faculty who can provide mentorship and advise students into disciplines based on their interests.

  • Are you an existing student who needs help planning your semester schedule? (New students, go here.)
  • Do you have questions about Degree Works?
  • Would you like to connect with a professor in a major that interests you?

The Academic Advising and Mentoring Center can help!

AAMC faculty are available at each center to help Suffolk students understand Degree Works and to select classes that will fulfill their degree requirements. AAMC faculty can also help students navigate the MySCCC portal to search for classes and register online.
