Hands-On Summer Culinary Camps for Grades 8–12 in Riverhead
Long Island's leading culinary arts college program is now offering special culinary
camps for young adults in grades 8 -12 in our state-of-the art professional kitchens
at our Culinary Arts Center on Main Street in Riverhead.
Camps (Mon-Fri) run the weeks of July 6 and July 20. Choose to attend one or both!
Drop-off is between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.; pick-up is between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Led by a professionally trained instructor, each day features a combination of classroom
instruction, demonstrations, hands-on kitchen experience, and fun. Students will be
introduced to the fundamentals of baking and simple pastry arts and will prepare and
serve their own lunch daily. No previous experience is necessary.
Camp week concludes with a student-prepared luncheon for invited parents and guests,
where certificates and chef’s toques will be awarded.
Cost is $595 per week. Tuition includes food and snacks.
