Maserati of Long Island Donates 2016 Maserati Ghibli as Hole-in-One Prize for Suffolk Golf Classic

Your golf drive might not be the only “drive” you can show off thanks to  Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island who has generously donated a hole-in-one prize of a new Maserati for the Suffolk Community College Foundation 33rd Annual Golf Classic on August 22.

A 2016 Maserati Ghibli will be driven away by a lucky golfer if he or she can score a hole-in-one on the fourth hole of the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack.

Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island has been and continues to be a generous supporter of Suffolk County Community College, our foundation and students,” said Suffolk County Community College President Dr. Shaun L. McKay.

Not a golfer? Support the college by attending the awards reception and dinner.

The reception and dinner will provide another opportunity to drive a sleek Italian sports car. A Maserati Weekend experience will be auctioned along with dozens of other prizes during the dinner hour.

“Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island provides the absolute coolest hole-in-one opportunity of any golf event in our region, and the Suffolk Community College Foundation is delighted to once again partner with this great Long Island business in support of student scholarships, said Suffolk Community College Foundation Executive Director Dr. Sylvia A. Diaz.

The proceeds from the Golf Classic will support need and merit-based scholarships, emergency student loans and quality academic enrichment programs for Suffolk County Community College students. Last year, more than 500 students were helped by more than $650,000 in aid from the Suffolk Community College Foundation.

Kevin M. O’Connor, president and chief executive officer of The Bridgehampton National Bank (BNB) and a Suffolk County Community College class of 1982 graduate will be honored at the event.

The Classic will tee-off on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack.  Registration includes 18 holes of golf, access to the driving range and putting green, golf cart, lunch, a cocktail reception and a celebratory dinner featuring raffle drawings, auction and awards ceremony.
