Suffolk Community College Foundation will host its 42nd Annual Golf Classic at Westhampton
Country Club on June 8, 2026.
The Suffolk Community College Foundation will host its 42nd Annual Golf Classic on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Westhampton Country Club in Westhampton Beach, NY. The event itself is sold out, however, a limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain available. Proceeds from the event will support student scholarships and academic programs at Suffolk County Community College.
This year’s honoree is William “Bill” Hennessey, President, International Longshoreman’s Association (ILA), Local 342. Bill is a veteran labor leader currently serving as President of ILA Local 342 (United Marine Division) and an International Vice President of ILA. With over two decades at the helm of Local 342, he oversees representation for maritime and public service workers across Long Island and the New York region. A key figure in the Long Island Federation of Labor, Bill is recognized for his commitment to collective bargaining and strengthening the influence of organized labor in the maritime industry.
