The Sagtikos Art Gallery, located in the Sagtikos Arts and Science Building on Suffolk County Community College’s Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood, will present Travelers, an exhibition featuring the work of Amy Brener, Andy Cahill and Alex Yudzon, from November 10, 2026, through January 25, 2027.

The exhibition brings together Brener’s sculptures, Yudzon’s photographs and an animated video by Cahill. Each artist approaches the idea of “travelers” in a different way. Brener’s mixed-media ceramic sculptures could be votive offerings carried here from an alien world or keepsakes bought at a drugstore in an alternate timeline. Yudzon’s photographs document his travels around the world, along with playful, constructed scenes he stages inside hotel rooms. Cahill’s animation follows the wanderings of the mind in a picaresque tour de force.

In this exhibition, every viewer becomes a traveler. Each piece of artwork offers a journey beyond the routine of daily life.

An opening reception will be held Tuesday, November 10, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Artist Alex Yudzon will give a talk about his work at 12:45 p.m. in the gallery. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free, and all are welcome.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and by appointment during office hours. For additional information, call (631) 851-6380.
