Eligibility Requirements
- Graduating Suffolk County Community College in the semester you are applying.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.7 or greater
- Apply to NYSPT Scholarship Partner School(s)
- Must attend partner school full-time, 12+ credits per semester

The NYSPT Scholarship Application Process
Choosing a limited group of NYSPT Scholarship recipients out of our many qualified applicants is very difficult task; therefore, the process is long and has many steps. The dates provided below serve as a general outline of our process, and are subject to change.

| September 2, 2022: | Spring 2023 Entry Application Opens |
| September 21, 2022: | Attend Workshop - Email NYSPT@sunysuffolk.edu to register, 11:00 am or 7:00 pm |
| October 05, 2022: | Attend Workshop - Email NYSPT@sunysuffolk.edu to register, 11:00 am or 7:00 pm |
| October 24, 2022: | Spring Entry Partner School Application Deadline to apply for admission to Partner College/University. |
| October 24, 2022: | Spring Entry Scholarship Application Deadline. Applications undergo a preliminary review to ensure that all documents have been submitted, and that all eligibility requirements have been met. |
| October 28, 2022: | Applications have been reviewed by the scholarship committees at the campus level. |
| November 16, 2022: | Applications have been reviewed by the scholarship committees at the NYSPT Scholarship Partner Schools. Students will be notified of any scholarship offers. |
| December 1, 2022: | Students must officially accept or decline any scholarship offers. |

| February 27, 2023: | Fall 2023 Entry Scholarship Application Deadline. Applications undergo a preliminary review to ensure that all documents have been submitted, and that all eligibility requirements have been met. |
| March 22, 2023: | Applications have been reviewed by the scholarship committee at the campus level. |
| April 15-May 1st, 2023: | Applications have been reviewed by the scholarship committee at the NYSPT Scholarship Partner Schools. Students will start getting notified of any scholarship offers. |
| May 1, 2023: | Students must officially accept or decline any scholarship offers. |
