Locally, its campuses in Manhattan and Old Westbury, Long Island, offer more than 90 undergraduate and graduate degree programs and schedules to fit every student's needs. Scholarships for transfer students range between $2,000 and $15,000 per academic year (not including the full-tuition scholarship we offer to one Suffolk Community College graduate as part of the Stay on Long Island Initiative). Given that these scholarships can be combined with other sources of financial aid, you will understand just how affordable an NYIT education can be.
NYIT Scholarship Details:
- The scholarship is awarded in the spring for students enrolling in the fall.
- Recipients must take 12-17 credits each semester.
- Recipients must maintain a 3.5 GPA if awarded a full-tuition scholarship.
- Scholarships are limited to four semesters of continuous enrollment.
NOTE: Applying for the Stay on Long Island Scholarship is NOT an application to the college. You must apply for transfer admission separately.
Scholarships available for May 2024 graduates enrolling for Fall 2024:
- One (1) full-tuition SoLII scholarship!
Students must apply for transfer admission to the college by Monday, February 26, 2024 to be eligible for the SoLII scholarship.
