To conduct system maintenance, all production portal services such as DegreeWorks, MySCCC (including all services accessed via MySCCC), Blackboard, and Open SUNY will be unavailable on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

Philosophy

The child care centers subscribe to the following statements:

  • a good child care program meets the child's total developmental needs (i.e., physical, intellectual, social, and emotional)
  • children of all ages should learn to be independent
  • children learn best by doing, that is through hands-on activities that foster a sense of curiosity and self-reliance
  • activities should stimulate a child's intellectual and inquisitive abilities, and enhance motor development and social skills
