Faculty Summer Read 2025

Stack of books for the 2025 CTL Summer Reading Initiative

It’s an ideal time for a good book. Great educators see themselves as learners too and are always looking for ways to improve their teaching practice. CTL has purchased a limited number of books that are highly rated for college professors. You can learn more about artificial intelligence, how it may impact your teaching and the future of the workforce, or how to increase equity at a Hispanic Serving Institution—like SUNY Suffolk, or take a deep dive into the world of big data.

You can request a book and we will deliver it to you through interoffice mail. In exchange, you agree to read the book, discuss it with colleagues at least once (or more) during the summer, and report back to us if and how you plan to incorporate it into your teaching for Fall 2025. Read below if you’d like to request one of the following books. Supply is limited and first come, first served.
