The Physical Sciences Department on the Ammerman campus has a help center located
in the Smithtown Science Building, second floor - room T210. Tutoring is provided
for Earth & Space Sciences (Astronomy, Geology & Meteorology/Weather), Chemistry and
Physics. The Center is always open for student study, but the hours for tutoring are available according to the tutoring schedule. No appointment necessary and tutoring sessions are free.
Please check schedule during/and for each new semester for updates!
To enroll in Blackboard, click on “Physical Sciences Help Center” tab to the left
of page. This will bring you to “Biology and Physical Sciences Online Tutoring Center”;
follow instructions. Once enrolled, you can find out more about tutors on our department’s
web page and access instructors’ office hours for additional help.
