Proctorio is the proctoring tool that the college supports. The tool was selected after a careful evaluation of adherence to our computing and security requirements, academic program requirements, privacy considerations, and the tools’ support for our commitment to academic integrity. 

 

Proctorio operates in Brightspace through a browser extension in Chrome. The instructor may set different options depending on the assessment. Some of these include webcam or screen recording, computer lockdown, identity verification and other analytics. Proctorio can also be used to proctor exams in third-party products such as ALEKS, Hawkes, Hesi, Knewton, MyOpenMath, Pearson MyLabs and Wiley.
