Accessibility

Creating course materials with ADA compliance in mind may seem daunting at first, but with practice, it becomes second nature. The guides and tutorials below will guide you through the process. Word documents, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, videos, interactive presentations, math and Blackboard are all covered. These documents are also all compiled in the Guide to Accessible Document and Media Design booklet (aka ADA Compliant Design Short Guide). The standards adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 and to Suffolk County Community College's website accessibility policy.
