Suffolk County Community College honored the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans during its annual Veterans Day ceremonies held this week at the Michael J. Grant and Ammerman campuses. The college also marked the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War and was recognized as one of the first SUNY campuses to adopt the newly announced SUNY Military Tuition Rate Program, launched by SUNY Chancellor John B. King Jr. on Veterans Day.
Suffolk County Community College is pleased to announce "James J. A. Mercer: Without Thinking", an exhibition of paintings and animations by New York-based artist James J. A. Mercer. The exhibition will be on view from November 19, 2025, through January 26, 2026, at the Sagtikos Art Gallery, located in the Sagtikos Arts and Science Building, Room 150, on the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood.
Suffolk County Community College recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Automotive Technology Training Center, to be constructed on the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood. The 38,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will expand the college's automotive program capacity and strengthen Long Island's pipeline of skilled automotive technicians.
Suffolk County Community College's Flecker Gallery is pleased to announce Anthems, Highways, & Cosmic Roadtrips, a solo exhibition of recent paintings by visiting artist Fred Fleisher. The exhibition will run from November 13 through December 18, 2025, at the Flecker Gallery, located in the Southampton Building on the Ammerman Campus in Selden.
