A Daily Crime Log is maintained by the Office of Public and Fire Safety to provide
the Suffolk County Community College community with information on security-related
incidents that occur on campus or on surrounding off-campus property in a timely manner.
The Daily Crime Log will be updated within two business days of the last reported
crime. A log of all reported criminal activity is published on the Public Safety website
and updated monthly.
Requests for hardcopies can be made at any campus Public Safety Office during normal
business hours. Such requests will be filled within 48 hours.
To request a digital copy of a campus Crime Log email the Office of Public Safety
at this link.
However, if there is request by local law enforcement that the release of such information
would jeopardize an ongoing criminal investigation or the safety of an individual,
cause a suspect to flee or evade detection, or result in the destruction of evidence,
such information may be withheld until that damage is no longer likely to occur from
the release of such information.
