Siena, Italy
Summer Study Program in Siena & Rome
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Siena is a major touristic attraction and is also a
bustling university town. Located in the beautiful region of Tuscany, the city is
composed of gorgeous architecture found within its historic walls as well as modern
shops and facilities located around the city, surrounded by green pastures and vineyards
where the prestigious Chianti wine is produced. The city maintains a small community
feel through its historic traditions and delicious Tuscan food. Students will be able
to navigate the city easily by foot and via public transit. Siena is also not too
far away from other major cities in Italy, such as Rome and Florence. Students will
spend a day in Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, whose museums, palaces,
and churches house some of the greatest artistic treasurers in the world. In addition,
the group will spend 4 days in Rome, the city of ancient ruins, stunning baroque fountains
and the Papal residence, Vatican City.

Program Fee:
The Program Fee includes lodging, breakfast, medical insurance, tickets and transportation
to museums and programmed activities and excursions.
Program Fee DOES NOT include tuition (6 credits) and airfare.
NOTE: final cost of the program may change based on outside factors beyond our control
(Euro/dollar exchange rates fluctuations, etc.). If such changes occur, they will
be reflected in the last installment of the payment.
Certain fees are nonrefundable. Those include: application fee ($250), returned check fee ($35), and airfare.
